Learn more about our organization and the people behind it
The Ukrainischer Kultur und Bildungsverein Mönchengladbach e.V. was founded by Ukrainian teachers and educators who came to Germany after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.Having experienced the challenges of displacement themselves, they united to create a safe and supportive space where people from all backgrounds can meet, learn, and grow together.
Our association is dedicated to promoting solidarity, integration, and cultural exchange. We organize music, dance, art, and community events that not only preserve Ukrainian traditions but also build bridges with the local community. By fostering dialogue, we create opportunities for people to connect, share experiences, and celebrate diversity.
Beyond cultural activities, we provide practical support for newcomers, including language courses, job search assistance, and entrepreneurial guidance. We also encourage sports, networking, and educational opportunities that strengthen personal development and well-being.
